Emotional wellbeing · Loneliness & isolation

Lonely, even in a room full of people.

Counselling for isolation, disconnection and the ache of not being truly known.

Loneliness isn’t about how many people are around you. You can have a partner, colleagues and a busy phone and still feel unseen. Or you may be genuinely isolated — after a move, a divorce, a bereavement, working from home, or starting over in a new country.

Long-term loneliness affects mood, sleep and health, and it often comes with shame: a sense that something must be wrong with you. It isn’t.

Counselling offers real connection in the room, and a space to understand what makes connection hard for you — then take small, manageable steps towards the relationships you want.

You might recognise

  • Feeling nobody really knows you
  • Weekends that feel long and empty
  • Scrolling instead of reaching out
  • Anxiety about making new friends
  • Missing home or old communities
  • Feeling like a burden

You don’t need a diagnosis to reach out.
