Grief is love with nowhere to go.
Counselling for loss that was sudden, violent, complicated or unspoken — and for grief you are carrying from far away.

All grief hurts. But when a death is sudden, violent or preventable — a crime, an accident, a suicide, a death you couldn’t be there for — grief can become tangled with shock, trauma, anger and guilt.
Grief isn’t only about death, either. Divorce, estrangement, losing a pregnancy, losing your health, or leaving your country can all bring real grief that others may not recognise.
There is no timeline and no right way to grieve. Counselling offers a place to feel what you feel, to honour who or what you lost, and to find a way to carry it.
Need help right now? If you are thinking about ending your life, please call SADAG on 0800 567 567 or Lifeline on 0861 322 322 now.

How long does grief last?

I lost someone to suicide. Can you help?
Yes. Loss by suicide often brings intense guilt and unanswered questions. You will be met with care and without judgement.
Can I get grief counselling if I live overseas?
